Note from your lab

Pinhole Lab: Lovely batch. Frame 12 made the whole crew smile. The indoor shots came out a touch dark, they have a nice mood to them. See you next month?

Back-door seal on your 645. Common one. A new gasket fixes it. The mood it gave the indoor shots is actually nice though.

Yeah, late afternoon. Same +0.5 pull next time?

You · Apr 12 · 6:45pm

P

Yep. +0.5 is fine for Portra in this kind of light. We'll keep it on file so your next roll lands the same way.

Questions, answered

Things photographers ask before they sign up.

  • Your archive still works. You just won't have a thread with your lab attached to rolls they delivered. We've got a one-tap way to send your lab the page so they can take a look. If they join, every roll they scan for you from then on lands in your archive with the full back-and-forth on it.

Photographers ride free. Plus is for power users.

Every photographer your lab scans for gets the full base experience — every roll forever, mark frames, ask your lab, community feedback. Plus adds the badge, custom handle, year recap, and power tools.

Owen Fisher

Hi, I'm Owen.

Built Filmara · Shoots film

I shoot film, have done for 7 years or so. As we know, the film process is fragmented. That's what gave me the idea for Filmara. In essence, an operating system between photographer and lab.

A way for everyone involved in shooting, developing, and scanning a roll to connect and communicate better. If you have thoughts on what Filmara should be, send me a message.
